The Clothes I Wear the Most
March 2026I have a bunch of clothes, but I wear a small subset of them most of the time. I tend to be much less picky when buying things than when wearing them; as such, I have a ton of clothes that never get worn, which I probably could've predicted if I'd been more honest with myself at the time of purchase.
Quality seems to matter a lot here. Regardless of cost, the clothes I wear most tend to be cut from heavier fabric.
The Flat Head FN-D111
These are awesome — they're the pair of pants I wear the most. They go pretty well with most things, and have broken in really nicely and are quite soft now. I did have to get a pocket and a few holes repaired recently after ~1.5 years of wearing them every 2-3 days.
Samurai 15oz Heavyback Baker Pants
I adore the fabric these are made from. It makes them feel heavy and durable, but when you're wearing them they're quite soft.
Gap Denim Chore Coat
I have no idea what this jacket is called; I bought it on clearance and I couldn't find it online. The fabric is this weird denim/polyester blend. I love how it looks and fits, but it's starting to feel flimsy.
House of Blanks 1009 Heavyweight T-Shirt
I really like House of Blanks. They make relatively affordable basics that are made in Canada and feel premium. I wear this shirt so much that I had to fish it out of the laundry to take this photo, hence the wrinkles.
House of Blanks 3008 Pullover Hooded Sweatshirt
I wear this hoodie a ton. It's very well-made and is comfortable but also looks decent. I bought a quarter-zip and a crewneck from House of Blanks too, but was a bit unimpressed. I think their baggy/boxy fits work well when broken up by the hoodie pocket, but without that, the fit is too loose for my liking.
